Greenfield Rotary Bands and BBQ

My dad would have been shocked and elated to know that his daughter, a previously self-declared "meat hater," had a blast and ate all the pulled pork and brisket she could get her hands on a few weeks ago!  Let me tell you, if you haven't tried the pulled pork made by Greenfield's BBQ'N Fools, you are missing out!  All of this amazing BBQ was found at the Greenfield Rotary Bands and BBQ event at Heartland Resort.  Not only were the BBQ'N Fools there, but more than 20 other BBQ groups competed for the highly-coveted crowning as Grand Champion (amongst other awards, of course!).  While we stuffed our faces with samples, we listened to some awesome bands and watched a great Cornhole competition! The kids got to bounce, check out magic and puppet shows, get their faces painted, and well, here--you check out the rest!

Introducing Baby Jacob!

 He's finally here!!  You might remember the maternity photos I took of Jacob's parents this summer.  Never fear, you can now see the sweet, adorable, football-player-in-the-making, baby Jacob!  We had some bad luck with the sun during our first go-round, so we held a second photo shoot indoors about a week later.  And I think it was a success!  You'll have to forgive all the black and white photos I have for you here--there's just something so dramatic and beautiful about little babies captured in b&w, if you ask me.
