Christmas time!

I couldn't resist showing you a few shots of two of my six (soon to be seven!!) favorite kids in the world.  :)  You might recognize my nephew and niece, along with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, from previous blog entries.  We had a super short & sweet session at the fancy Beaver studio (sarcastic, very sarcastic--but white sheets and natural light do wonders for photos!) to capture a few good shots for Christmas pictures.  Luckily they're all pros, so we got some great ones!!

Feeding Issues and Freezing Weather

It's no secret that our 4 year-old has some pretty major feeding issues.  He literally lives on pudding, yogurt,  and children's formula.  We have made HUGE strides in this area, thanks to two amazing women and their (genius!!) group feeding therapy.  Know families of children with feeding issues?  Send them to www.feedingfriends.com.  They will only be disappointed that they didn't hear of Feeding Friends sooner!!   Don't know any children with feeding issues?  Just wait, you will!  It's everywhere.  But there's only one program like this for these kids. So spread the word!!!  :)

Okay, shameless, passionate, Feeding Friends plug over.  How does this relate?  Well, I had the privilege of taking photos for one of the (I'll say it again--genius!!) therapists not long ago.  She and her sisters brought their children to Potter's Bridge Park in Noblesville for the shoot, which sadly took place on a cold and windy day!  And let me tell you, these kids were troopers!  If you look closely, you might see some chattering teeth.  :)  We did manage to capture some great shots despite the freezing weather.  Check them out!!

Sweet Baby Graelyn

She's BAAACK!!!  Baby Graely once again stopped by LTP for the next edition of her baby pictures.  How is she already 6 months old??  Those huge blue eyes just melt your heart, don't they??

Kaitlyn

I had the pleasure of hanging out with Kaitlyn and her mom at one of my favorite Indy sites, the IMA, a few weeks ago.  Apparently every other photographer in the Indianapolis area had the same idea that day!  The IMA grounds were swarmed with people posing for family pictures, engagement pictures, you name it.  We often had to wait in line to shoot in some of the hot spots out there.  :)  I think you'll see why it was such a popular place that day.  It was a perfect fall evening, with great light and amazingly beautiful colors.  That combination made for some great senior pictures of Kaitlyn!

The Hedges Family

If you know me well enough, you'll just roll your eyes and laugh when you hear that a quick road trip to Plainfield from my home in Greenfield turned out to be not so quick after all.  Of course, despite the wonderful directions given to me by my old college friend Amy (are we old enough to say we're old college friends?!? NAH.), I somehow managed to get lost on my way to Friendship Gardens.  Sigh.  Just when I think my sense of direction is improving, I prove myself wrong!!  Ha ha!  Nevertheless, I eventually arrived there to meet Amy, her awesome husband Todd, and adorable (and might I suggest Drew Barrymore look-alike?!?!!) daughter, Olivia.  We had a great time walking around Friendship Gardens while we took some fun photos!  Here ya go!
