Baby Isaiah

Ahh, newborns. Probably the sweetest thing in this world, and I absolutely cannot get enough of them (even though I currently have one at home, attached to my hip!).  So imagine my excitement when I had the chance to capture this teeny tiny, 10 day-old bundle of  adorable sweetness.  Seriously, don't those eyes just make your heart melt? I thought so. Despite all our tries to get him to drift off into baby sleepland, little Isaiah wanted to stay awake and take part in all of the photoshoot excitement!  We managed to capture a few "sleeping" shots, but don't be fooled--this little guy had his own agenda.  He clearly knew better than us that those eyes would steal the show.  :)

Yappy Dogs and Seniors

My next-door neighbor and I joke around about fencing our backyards together so that all four of our dogs can run and play with each other. I'm sure our other neighbors would LOVE the idea of hearing four little yappy dogs outside all of the time, but that's okay. :) Yappy pups aside, when their daughter called to set up a session for her senior pictures, I was thrilled.  I heart seniors even more than the idea of letting my dogs play outside all day! Katie and I decided to head over to Falls Park in Pendleton, and had a lot of fun wandering around taking pictures. I thought we'd share a few with you.  Enjoy!

She's Baaaaaack!

Who's back?  Baby Graely, of course!  I realize at some point we'll have to stop calling her Baby Graely, but not just yet.  :)  I'm proud to present her 9 month photos, with her (GASP!!) 1 year photo session right around the corner.  I've told mom not to be surprised if she sees some of those adorable tutu photos hanging in my own house someday.  I'm in love with those bright colors and Baby Graely's sweet cheeks!!!  Big Brother Caedmon also makes an appearance today--woohoo!

Meet Adam & Jessica

What do you get when you mix newly fallen snow, freezing temperatures, a couple in love, and a camera?  The answer is below!   I met Adam and Jessica at the IMA the other day, after Jessica suggested we take some snowy engagement photos.  She's a smart one, that girl!  Since no one else was brave enough to venture out into the cold, snowy outdoors, we had the whole IMA grounds to ourselves.  Oh, we don't sound very brave to you?  Check out the shots of the future Mr. and Mrs. with no coats (extra points to Jessica for short sleeves!!).  By the time we were done, our toes were in danger of frostbite, we were in desperate need of hot chocolate, and had taken some fabulous photos!  So many, in fact, I've had trouble narrowing them down.  Yes, I am well aware that there are NINETEEN photos for your viewing pleasure below.  It's an LTP blog record!  Enjoy.

Christmas time!

I couldn't resist showing you a few shots of two of my six (soon to be seven!!) favorite kids in the world.  :)  You might recognize my nephew and niece, along with my sister-in-law and brother-in-law, from previous blog entries.  We had a super short & sweet session at the fancy Beaver studio (sarcastic, very sarcastic--but white sheets and natural light do wonders for photos!) to capture a few good shots for Christmas pictures.  Luckily they're all pros, so we got some great ones!!
